Dr. Nabil Abdennadher, Professor at Univ. of applied Sciences, Geneva

Nabil Abdennadher received his engineering degree from the ENSI (Tunisia), and a PhD degree from University of Valenciennes (France). He was assistant at University of Tunis II (1992 to 1998) and research assistant at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (1999 to 2000). In 2001, he joined the faculty of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at university of applied sciences, western Switzerland (HES-SO, hepia) as assistant professor. In 2008, he was promoted to full professor.

Nabil Abdennadher is head of the inIT research institute and leader of the “large scale distributed systems research group” (www.lsds.hesge.ch). He was member of the Executive Board of the Swiss national Grid association (www.swing-grid.ch) form 2008 to 2013.

Nabil Abdennadher is founder of two companies in Tunisia and Switzerland. He was member and representative of ATIDE (www.atide.org) in Switzerland from August 2011 to June 2014. He’s currently president of CTS (www.association-cts.ch).
